Taking first place for grades 9 and 10 is Arin Higginbotham.  The title of her work is "An Old Song for Annie".  Second place went to Michelle Randolph and third to Samantha Bullis.

For grades 11 and 12, Jordan McGuire took first place with "The Canal".  Second place winner was Casey Huffman and coming in third was Cassandra Stump.

The first place winners will have their work entered in state competition and will also be recognized at a ceremony in Charleston on May 11.
